Underwater hockey is a real sport, with real state, national and international tournaments. On an international level it is played by approximately 15 countries including England, France, New Zealand, South Africa, U.S.A. and of course Australia. Australia has been World Champions on several occasions.

Underwater Hockey is a sport played on the bottom of a swimming pool by two teams of six players, each equipped with basic snorkeling equipment, i.e.: fins, mask, and snorkel, a wooden Underwater Hockey stick and a protective glove and cap.

The primary objective of underwater hockey is to push, pass, and shoot the puck into the opponents' goal as often as possible while preventing the other team from scoring in your goal.
